Account protection is the first line of defense against unauthorized access. Many useful actions are in your hands and do not require technical knowledge: they are good digital hygiene habits.
Password
- use a long, unique password not reused on other services;
- avoid passwords derived from easily accessible personal information;
- prefer a reliable password manager over a list in a text file;
- change the password if you suspect unauthorized access or after an external security event.
Two-step verification
Whenever available, activate two-step verification. It adds a fundamental layer of protection: even if a password is compromised, a second factor makes unwanted access much more difficult.
Devices and sessions
Use Arbicsx from reliable and updated personal devices. Avoid access from shared or public devices. If you are forced to do so, close the session at the end and change your password as soon as you return to a secure device.
Phishing and suspicious communications
No official Arbicsx communication will request your password, second factor, or recovery code. If you receive a message asking for sensitive data, even if it seems "official", treat it with suspicion and verify through the channels you already know. See also Important communications to understand how real communications are structured.
Anyone who writes to you proposing "exclusive opportunities", "VIP groups" or "closed deals" requesting credentials or payment data is not Arbicsx. Never provide this data outside official channels.
Updates to personal data
Keep your contact details and, if requested, documentation up to date. This allows support to correctly recognize you in case of a request and to reliably contact you for important information.
What to do if you suspect a problem
- change the password immediately;
- close active sessions from the devices you recognize;
- report the incident to support through official channels;
- pay attention to subsequent communications: the first hours after an incident are the most delicate;
- if payments are involved, also contact the issuer of your card or payment method.
General hygiene
Many unauthorized accesses do not arise from technical flaws in the service, but from fragile digital habits: reused passwords, postponed system updates, clicks on suspicious links. Good general hygiene protects not only the Arbicsx account but also the other services you use.
Perimeter
Account protection does not eliminate market risk: Arbicsx provides software pursuant to D.Lgs. 58/1998 (TUF) and no return is guaranteed. A well-protected account is, however, an essential prerequisite for orderly operations.
A habitual approach
The best security is not something that is "activated" once, but something that becomes a habit. Small gestures repeated over time — verifying sessions, periodic password reviews, attention to received messages — build stable protection.
