Differences between desktop and mobile versions

Understand the differences in experience and display between devices to choose the right platform for each activity.

Updated 16/07/2026 · 2 min read

The Arbicsx platform is primarily designed for desktop use, where you can find all functionalities. A mobile-optimized version is available for quick consultation. Knowing what to expect from each experience helps you choose the right device for every activity.

What the desktop version does

On the desktop, you will find the complete experience:

  • extended dashboard with all metrics and their history;
  • in-depth profile and configuration management;
  • broker connection tools;
  • full access to services, renewals, and administrative sections;
  • integral consultation of Arbicsxpedia with advanced search (⌘K).

For operational activities such as connecting a broker, configuring the profile, or reviewing metrics in detail, desktop is the recommended choice.

What the mobile version does

The mobile version is optimized for rapid use:

  • account status consultation;
  • quick reading of main metrics (overage netto, capital health);
  • notifications and official communications;
  • access to Arbicsxpedia for articles and FAQs.

Some advanced functionalities — technical configurations, in-depth management — are intentionally reserved for the desktop, where the screen space allows for more precise control.

Use mobile for quick monitoring; switch to desktop for operations that require attention and an overview.

Graphic differences

The two versions share the same visual setup — colors, typography, navigation logic — but adapt the layout to screen size. On mobile, some information is grouped in accordions or reached with a few taps to avoid crowding the view.

Updates and compatibility

Both versions receive updates from the same platform. If a new functionality is introduced, it usually appears first on the desktop version and subsequently on mobile, when it makes operational sense. Release communications are published in the Updates, releases, and maintenance category.

When working from mobile makes sense

The mobile version excels during "check-in" moments: a break, a trip, or an evening away from the desktop. It is perfect for verifying that everything is in order, receiving notifications, and reading a guide on the fly on Arbicsxpedia. It is less suitable, however, for structured operations such as connecting a broker for the first time or reviewing complex configurations.

If you often work from mobile, spend a few minutes configuring notifications: the right ones save you from having to reopen the app without reason. A well-calibrated ecosystem reduces perceived effort.

Practical rules

  • Mobile for monitoring.
  • Desktop for operations.
  • Calibrated notifications to avoid generating noise.

What to do if something does not work on a device

If a functionality on mobile appears different from the desktop, first verify if it is an intentional difference (feature reserved for desktop) or a technical issue. Try updating the browser or app, restart the device, and try again. If the problem persists, open a ticket from support indicating:

  • the device and operating system;
  • the browser or app used;
  • the functionality involved and what you expected;
  • any error message displayed.

If you are not yet familiar with the dashboard, the guide How to read the dashboard will guide you regardless of the device.
