What to do in case of disconnection

Immediate steps to follow when connection is lost

A disconnection between the Arbicsx platform and the broker can occur for local technical reasons, network issues, or on the broker side. In the vast majority of cases, it is resolved quickly. Knowing how to act saves time and avoids impulsive actions.

Typical signs are:

  • connection status indicator to the broker signaling an anomaly;
  • dashboard metrics that stop updating;
  • open trades that no longer reflect what you see on the broker;
  • explicit message displayed in the dashboard or via notification.

In order, it is usually sufficient to:

  1. verify your internet connection;
  2. reload the platform page;
  3. check that the broker client (if required) is active and logged in;
  4. wait a few minutes: many disconnections are transient.

During a disconnection, the data shown in the dashboard is not as reliable as under normal conditions. Do not make definitive decisions based on partial metrics.

If after a few minutes the situation does not normalize:

  • consult the category Updates, releases and maintenance to check for any technical communications;
  • check the official status of the broker on its channels;

  • verify that the technical credentials are still valid (some expire or require renewal on the broker side).

  • time, frequency, and duration of disconnections;
  • connected broker and device used;

Upon returning from the disconnection, the dashboard realigns data progressively: first the most essential information, then the more elaborate metrics. It is normal that for a few minutes some sections may still seem "old": it is not an error, it is the synchronization cycle working. Wait patiently for a few minutes before drawing conclusions.

If the disconnection also involved the broker, reconstruction takes time because the platform reads the updated state from the broker. Do not intervene on sensitive configurations during this phase: you risk altering a state that is already repairing itself.

  • Avoid operational actions until normalcy returns.
  • Report the disconnection if it was not announced.

Remember that the Arbicsx platform depends on the broker infrastructure to read data. If the broker is under maintenance or experiences problems, the effect is also seen in the dashboard. In those cases, the primary information source remains the broker itself.
