Forgetting your password happens to everyone. Recovery is an automatic flow that brings you back to your access in a few minutes, as long as you follow the correct procedure and have access to your email inbox.
Start recovery from the login page
From the login screen, you will find a link dedicated to recovery. Enter the email associated with your account: the system sends a message with a temporary link to set a new password. The link expires after a limited period, so open the email as soon as you receive it.
- Use the email you used to sign up for Arbicsx.
- Check your spam or promotions folder as well.
- Do not open the link from an unprotected shared device.
Set a new secure password
At the time of selection, choose a long, unique password not reused by other services. A good password manager helps you generate and store strong credentials without having to memorize them. Avoid trivial variations of previous passwords.
If you had already configured two-factor authentication, it remains active after the reset. Make sure you have access to the 2FA app or recovery codes.
What to do if the email does not arrive
In most cases, the message arrives within a few minutes. If after a reasonable time you cannot find it:
- Verify that you entered the correct email.
- Check spam, promotions, and automatic filter folders.
- Add the Arbicsx domain to your trusted senders and repeat the request.
- If you use a corporate client, ask your IT department if there are active filters.
If after these checks the email still does not arrive, open a ticket from support: indicate the email address associated with the account and the approximate time of the attempts. Never share your password, even in a ticket.
How recovery links behave
Recovery links are designed to be valid only for a limited time and for a single use. If you have initiated multiple recovery requests in rapid succession, only the last one remains valid. If the link does not work, there is no reason to be alarmed: just request a new one from the same recovery page.
If you notice recovery attempts that you did not initiate, it is a signal that someone is trying to access your account. In that case, log in normally, change your password anyway, and verify the status of the 2FA. If the pattern repeats, report it to support.
Errors to avoid during recovery
- Opening multiple recovery links simultaneously.
- Setting a password identical to the previous one.
- Saving the new password in unprotected text files.
Preventing the problem in the future
A small investment in prevention saves you from interruptions:
- use a reliable password manager;
- activate two-factor authentication;
- keep recovery codes in a safe place;
- keep the reference email address updated in your profile.
If you are also experiencing other login issues, not just the password one, take a look at Most common access problems: it lists typical scenarios and checks to perform before writing to support.
