How to update your data

Modify email, phone number, and personal information on your profile for correct communication with the support team.

Updated 16/07/2026 · 2 min read

Keeping your data updated on your Arbicsx profile is not a formal detail: it is what allows the platform and support to communicate correctly with you. An unregistered email change or an obsolete contact number risks slowing down important communications.

Where to find profile settings

Main data can be updated from the dedicated section of your account, accessible after login. You will typically find two groups of information: personal data (name, surname, contacts) and preference settings (language, notifications, technical options). Each section has a save button that confirms the changes.

Changing email and password

Email and password are sensitive data: the platform may require additional confirmation before applying changes, such as a code sent to the current address or a second authentication factor. Follow the requested procedure without forcing it: it is a protection in your favor.

If you change your email, make sure to also update your password managers and the contacts registered with the broker to avoid misalignments in communications.

Updating security contacts

An updated security contact — recovery email, phone number if provided — is what allows you to restore access in case of problems. Periodically check that they are still valid, especially after changing operators or personal email.

Changing preferences

Some preferences affect your daily experience: the interface language, the way you receive communications, and some technical options. Modifying them is safe and reversible. Take a few minutes to set them to your liking, so you avoid unnecessary notifications or missing important ones.

Consistency between platform and linked channels

When you update important data — email, phone number, name — also consider the channels that might be misaligned: password managers, contacts registered with the broker, addresses saved for external notifications. A partial update can create confusion: the platform speaks to one email, the broker to another, the community to a third.

Every now and then, dedicate five minutes to a general review of the information saved in the various services. It is not an exciting activity, but it pays off in peace of mind: when you need to receive an urgent communication, it will arrive at the right address.

Recommended review frequency

  • Every six months: complete review of personal data.
  • After every device change: verify security and 2FA.
  • After every email change: cross-service update.

When data is not saved

If an update seems not to be saved, first check the visual confirmation of the save; then reload the page and verify the status. If the problem persists:

  • try another browser or incognito mode;
  • verify that you have filled in all the mandatory fields;
  • if the field is protected by a second factor, check that you have completed the confirmation flow.

If after these checks the save is still not successful, open a ticket from the support with a screenshot of the error, the involved fields, and the time you attempted the modification. The support team will be able to check for any platform-side blocks.

For an orderly initial configuration, the guide How to correctly configure the profile describes the full recommended flow when you log in for the first time.
